I'm a design leader with over 15 years of experience, specializing in product design and user experience for multimodal, mobile, web and desktop platforms.
I’m passionate about social justice and equality. Inclusivity and accessibility. User-centered design and technology. Fusing these components to provide innovative solutions for other humans, is what drives me and gets me going each morning.
My eagerness for learning is ever-present and I look forward to continue working with innovative leaders. If you're interested in my process, see more on that below. Otherwise you might find my case studies, or work gallery a bit more suitable. Thanks for stopping by.

My process
Discovery
Through user research and stakeholder interviews, I collect as much data as possible. Taking this time to understand the product and business, while also working to understand user needs. At this stage I begin to sketch user flows, personas and light content to get the juices flowing, and uncover some inspiration.
Wireframe
With the requirements rounded up, and initial concepts on paper, it's time to build the backbone. Wireframes are where the user flow takes shape. I can explore transitions and interactions. Get a birds eye view and flesh out screens for the initial prototype.
Prototype
Depending on the device and platform the application calls for, I build a usable prototype that can be tested natively on any device or desktop to make important product decisions regarding flow, functionality, and feasibility.
Testing
It's time to start testing with users and validating assumptions around the experience. We find out if users needs are being met and make adjustments as needed before development gets too far along.
Design
Initial wireframes and prototypes have been validated, it's now time to refine the appearance and dial in the details. Fonts, colors, and branding are solidified. All interface components are carefully crafted and then prepped for engineering to implement.
Implementation
Depending on the platform being used for the product, assets should always be optimized and tailored accordingly for the developers to make sense of it all. All devs build differently, consequently good solid collaboration and teamwork is a necessity here.
